Boilies netted with fake corn and particles on baitboat, I moved swims 3 times

I would recommend this venue to a angler who has been fishing a few years as in varies in depths so much but as soon as you work it out you get the rewards! Constant bites throughout the week which kept us happy!

General Comments:

Had an amazing week.

Details of your catches:

We fished peg 10 and had 60 fish between us, carp caught all over the lake. Same 57lb sturgeon was caught 3 times and another at around 50lb. Biggest carp was 56lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Match the hatch or yellow worked well but I believe anything will work if you were on the fish. A couple of large scoops of bait or pva bags was very successful. Lake has barely no weed and largely a silt bottom.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Toilet and shower very small but served a purpose, shower had good hot water, plenty of freezer and fridge space with serval charging points with English plugs.

Were you happy with them?

Basic but all you need for a weeks fishing.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

100%, amazing fishery. Owners come round nearly everyday offering any help or advice you needed. Only moan would be the amount of coypu and rats around the swims at night but the fishing soon distracted us from that.

General Comments:

Great fishery that will only get better over time, heard a lot about the “nuisance grass carp” but personally I had 25 fish and caught 8, mate I fished with had 35 carp and had 1. So far from a pain in my opinion I caught grass to 44lb which fought like no other carp ive caught before so cannot complain. You can drive around the whole lake making it easy to unload and the local village has a great kebab house. “L’oriental kebab”
