General Comments:

All you need for the week. Toilet, shower, freezers and fridges and most importantly power supply to charge bait boats etc

Between the group of 9 everyone caught, had mirrors to 55lb’s, commons to 51lbs, grass carp to 42lbs and numerous sturgeon one at 108lbs and again at the end of the week at 109lbs

Nothing fancy bottom baits of snowman with a pink pop up mainly caught at night

General Comments:

Was not greeted on our arrival and never actually met Sebastian. No tips or advice given to us and after the Amber weather warning had no contact to advise us or check in with us following it. Had 2 trees fall down.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

No fancy or trendy rigs, simple knotless knot rig with a single Blue lake boilie, heavy baiting of maize mix into an area and waited for the carp to move in.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, and some!! Beautiful secure venue, picturesque lake with spacious swims commanding plenty of open water.
Sebastian was very approachable and willing to offer help through an medical emergency one of our party experienced.
The only set back for the party was the number of mice on the banks (hours of darkness) that did cause some damage to discarded clothing and bivvies, although we come to except that there are fields surrounding the complex.
Wash/shower, toilet area served their purpose and there was ample freezer/fridge space available. British plugs available for charging purposes and another benefit was being able to park your vehicle behind the swim.

Certainly would and have already, I've being using Angling Lines periodically since 2003, during which time I have recommended their services to numerous mates, who have been equally impressed. The staff have always been very accommodating and helpful both before and during your trip. On this occasion we had to urgently return to the UK, cutting our break short due to an unwell party member, Angling lines staff were nothing short of brilliant in managing our travel plans. My sincere thanks to the team for their assistance in this matter.

General Comments:

I previously read that a visit to this complex would put a serious bend in your rod, that's certainly no understatement, beautiful hard fighting fish, luckily we had the best of the weather for October and thoroughly enjoyed a trip to Blue lake.
