5 of us fishing for the week. Biggest was a 52lb Common. 30 fish in total between us. Average size of carp was around 34lbs. Four sturgeons caught up to 99lbs. Conditions were not easy. Water temperature was still cold but warming up by the end of the week.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

All baits worked well by everyone. Especially Spotted Fin Smokey Jack and Trent baits Shrimp boilies. Fished in open water. However stalking and fishing to over hanging trees caught a lot if carp towards the end of the week.

Yes. Fridge/Freezer perfectly fine and power points. Shower is fine and wash basins are all adequate.

General Comments:

Don't just sit in swim for a week if nothing is happening. Fish are catchable from every part of the lake. You just have to find them!

Karl, peg 10, 4 sturgeon biggest 96lb and 5 carp biggest 36lb8.
