Details of your catches:
45 carp in 6 days to 40lb 1 very cool sturgeon Just a reminder not to land sturgeon in a net. You need to get in the water and either land them by the wrist of the tail or transfer them straight into a mat in the water. They are VERY powerful and you will know about it as soon as you hook one.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Small snowman rigs 15mm hardened bottom bait /12mm popup & heavy baiting with pre soaked boilies and pellet. We caught most of the fish from the center of the lake in the softer silt gullies between the gravel. The best depth was between 5-8ft, we didn’t get anything from the deeper water. Most of the runs came in the evening and early mornings and some of the nights we didn’t fish so we could get some sleep! We did pick up a lot of the newly stocked fish which was great fun and loads of action but didn’t get into any of the real big ones. I will add an image to the feedback here so you can see the harder gravel areas in the middle of the lake, these show as darker spots and will give you an idea of the gullies in between. Start off feeding light as always as every week conditions change but if you start picking up fish straight away don’t be afraid to feed them! The carp will visit the shallower bays in the next few months as they start to look for areas to spawn so the entrance to these areas will also be worth targeting. We saw a lot of carp feeding on the corner of the small channel at the bottom of the lake near the snags so they are already in those areas.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Good facilities. Take a uk adapter, there is one uk extention lead there but always best to have your own. Take crocs or sliders for the shower. The floor is stainless steel and is freezing atm. The facilities are basic but they do the job.
Were you happy with them?
Everything was fine.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes. Brilliant for a good bit of action and a Great Lake for a social with friends
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Angling lines are always top of the list when it comes to carp holidays in France. You won’t find a better company that really cares about their clients and will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.
General Comments:

There where only 2 of us on the lake this week, October 5th and the lake looked great as we entered. Conditions where spot on and we caught some MEGA fish including a new PB for myself of 64lb. I fished peg 11 and my mate fished peg 10 he struggled for a few days but landed a 60+ sturgeon and lost a couple. Unfortunately we had to leave Wednesday night as we got flooded out and this is the only negative I'd say we didn't get any warning and where lucky to get out. General Comments:
Overall a great trip but would have liked to have got warned about the possibility of flooding and check up it could have had a different outcome. Overall good service. * Angling Lines comment * The situation you faced must have been horrendous. As soon as we had been made aware of the lake level rising, one of our directors, Bridget, did try to contact you but couldn't get though, she also sent a text message to check you were both ok. Cyril (the bailiff) told Bridget that he did go down to the lake to check all was ok but you had already left at that point. However, this is not good and so on their behalf, please accept theirs and Angling Lines apologies you were not warned sooner. This is a freak weather event that obviously developed very, very quickly and we are extremely relieved no one has been hurt. You were really unfortunate to experience it.

Between 2 of us we had 11 bites landed 9. Weather was not favourable as it was sunny most days with very cold temperatures at night. However consistent baiting kept the bites coming.
