Brilliant pool and well thought out, 4 of the 5 had personal bests with huge carp of 45lb s oz (common) topping the bill with a few high thirties' (angling lines does it again)

General Comments:

Blue lake is a very beautiful lake where swims are pegged very well and allows anglers to utilitise the water in front of them. For a drive and survive its perfect because it isn't too commercialised. Full of beautiful commons and the bailiff team are as helpful as they can be....

*Edited to add* We did get a few more fish after I submitted the catch report, I had a three more nice fish up to 26lb.

Tight beds of boilies sticky baits vortex 16 mm + 20 mm.

Best tactics was to row the baits and quietly.

General Comments:

This lake is everything you would hope for from a French carp lake.

It has a lot of fish and the potential to catch a lot of them! However, there fish are fished for most weeks of the year so a quiet and subtle approach is vital.

Keep bankside disturbance to an absolute minimum and you will catch. Too much noise will scare these fish out of your swim. Also, be prepared to move on to the fish.
