Details of your catches:
We had over 60 fish, I personally had 28 fish. 12 grass carp biggest 29lb ( Matt gower) 5 sturgeon biggest 42lb. (Matt gower) 23 commons biggest 36lb 15oz (lee glover) 18 mirrors biggest 31lb 11oz ( lee glover) Bream, pike and almost hooked a large mouth bass.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Single bollie bottom baits with handful of boilies, we all moved swims to find the fish, Matt hoult fished swim 10 then moved to swim 5 started catching carp, Dan Smith fished swim 8 then moved to swim 7 with me, we then moved to swim 3. 7 only produced grass carp, bream and 3 sturgeon, fished to the gravel plateau. Swim 3, fished to trees in bay and caught 25 carp and 1 sturgeon, lost 4 fish due to snags. Lee glover fished swim 6 had a few fish then moved to swim 4.

General Comments:
Been with angling lines for 11 years, never let us down, this was by far my best trip, the weather was wet at the start but got better as the week went on. You have to move to keep on the fish, most of the fish were held up in the 2 bays, and stayed there all week, fish were showing all over but other than the bay's we were only catching grass carp, Sebastian was suppressed we caught so many grasses..

Details of your catches:
Total catch: Mirrors - 14 fish to 42lb Commons - 16 fish to 46lb Grass - 7 fish to 32lb Sturgeon - 3 fish to 48lb Bream - 8
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
All three used different tactics. Using pellets with maize and chopped boilies only interested bream and sturgeon. Best tactics were single boilies (HG42) fished with small stringers to silty patches. Bait boat helped but again only used with small amount of bait
Were the facilities what you expected?
Second visit to blue lake and facilities are perfect. Freezer and fridge were both on and ready for us when we arrived and the toilet and shower was clean.

We went the same time last year and the fishing was equally as good. The fish had packed on the weight as the commons we were catching last year at upper 20s were now mid thirties. Would recommend this lake to anyone.

We had to leave one day early and contacted angling lines from France and they changed our crossing with zero hassle at no extra cost. Great service again.
General Comments:
We faced changeable weather conditions throughout the week which made fishing conditions harder. Bream were spawning and the carp seemed like they had their minds in other things. If I was to go back I'd be as mobile as possible as the fish did move to areas of the lake that had no pressure.
