Boilie pop-ups over bed of boilies. Fish topping all week. Very hot, mid 30s, not feeding well.

Excellent, beautiful peaceful location.

General Comments:

Had a brilliant week catching from start to finish. Needed plenty of bait to keep the fish feeding. The lake was fantastic and we all enjoyed our week.

Details of your catches:

Approximately 60 fish between us. Biggest were a 40lb common and a 44lb Sturgeon. Lost another 20+ fish

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Baiting with particles and boilies on a little and often basis. Zigs work well during quiet spells but attract the grassies.

Were the facilities what you expected?

2nd time at this venue and it still desperately needs some swim management. The banks are dangerous after rain, with thick slippery mud causing problems.

Were you happy with them?

Won't go back because of the state of the swims

A good venue with fish that fight harder than any I've known but needs some work done to make it more comfortable for anglers

Yes. Used Angling Lines for 10 years and always happy
