Approx 45 to 50 fish caught, mostly out of two swims. Biggest carp 37lb and 41lb sturgeon. A few too many bream in the lake.

Pop ups on a bed a bait, boilies or particles.

Facilities were fine, toilet a little small, hard for some on the trip to close the door.

Yes fridge and freezer were fine, shower facilities good, plenty of warm water.

Yes, just found a hard week weather not good at all lots of rain and a strong cold wind.

General Comments:

Hard weeks fishing due to weather, fish holding out in two seperate coves, lots of fish losts due to snags and over hanging trees in these areas, these could be addressed for the safety of the fish. Didn't see sebastian very much, twice. Quality of fish were very good have never seen commons in such good condition. Overall nice lake, but a hard week.

Details of your catches:

A number of fish were caught, bream carp and sturgeon. The biggest sturgeon going 37 as was the carp 39. The fishing was patchy with swims only having odd fish while others produced more.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Put beds of bait out by marker the only fish came to popped up tiger nut and a fruit flavoured boillie on the botton. It is very silty and the bottom is very uniformed the other bank dropped off very quickly into 17 foot.

Facilties good but could do with a couple more chairs in the shower area and a mop so it can be kept clean

Boilies fished in the silty areas!! particle seemed to attract the bream and grassies!!

General Comments:

Great weeks fishing for all, most runs coming at night though!!

If more than 6 anglers would be a little tight for space as some of the swims in the corners would be cut off. We were a little disappointed that we did not catch a 40 plus carp!! (too many doubles for a French lake!!) We all thought that 8 sturgeon in this lake was to many as one was caught on three occasions.

58 Carp - 1 x 40, 14 x 30s, 35 x 20s and 8 doubles.

3 x Sturgeon, 6 Bream, 1 x grass Carp and 2 ducks

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We caught the majority of fish on silty areas, fishing on gravel bars didn't produce. We used Quality Baits CM60 and HG47. We had great results using a spomb and fishing tight to baited areas of boilies, particles only produced bream.

Were the facilities what you expected?

No issues at all, shower block and toilets were very clean and the chest freezer was on and working for when we arrived.

Didn't need anything more.

Yes, not a hard venue at all but time spent with a marker is vital as depths and features differ everywhere.

General Comments:

Although we had great weather throughout the day, the evenings and night were very cold. We did notice the fish did wise up to the pressure and moved away from our swims later on in the week.
