Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were genuinely top notch. Everywhere was clean and tidy, clearly maintained to the highest standard, and thoughtfully laid to accommodate carp anglers to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Whether it was the showers, kitchen area, or communal spaces, it was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the entire site in pristine condition.

Were you happy with them?

Yes definitely, the best we’ve experienced in 20 years of fishing in France! The lake itself is very picturesque and peaceful, you can walk around the whole lake which is great for locating fish and spots to cast to.

yes, most definitely and would consider returning in the future.

Thomas, who was an absolute credit to the place. Professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, he made sure we had everything we needed. He gave us some great tips, especially with zig tactics. After some advice from Thomas I managed to get two runs within 24hrs! His passion for the place really shows, and his welcoming nature made it a great week.

Baiting little and often with pigeon mix, lake pellets and boilies to far margin and middle water after finding clear spots.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were extremely good and very clean great showers with plenty of hot water, a very nice kitchen area and gas cooker, microwave, fridge and large bait freezer. The large open fronted cabin was a godsend in the heavy rain !!

Were you happy with them?

Very happy, nice to have plenty of room when needed. Quite a clever set up you can tell Thomas is a carp fisherman as he has thought of everything just apart from a mirror

We have been using Angling lines for quite a few years now and I can truly say they have always been first class from start to finish. Great communication right through the process.

General Comments:

Great venue and we will definitely be back to "unlock the code" this is one of those fisheries which is only going to get better with age. Thomas and Deborah were great hosts and nothing was to much trouble. The fishing was quite hard due to the dramatic weather changes being warm in the day and cold at night. Thomas was always ready to help with details of spots and baits to use, he really knows his lake and carp angling as a whole even giving us a new bait and pellets he had on trial just to get us to catch !!
