The lake owners are great and very friendly.

Around 17 fish caught ranging from 43lb to 10lb plus two sturgeon

Simple tactics worked best plus bait provided by lake owner. All fish came at night time except one

Were the facilities what you expected?

Lodge was fine, shower head needs upgrading as pressure is quite poor. Lake has slot of snags which need dealing with as we lost quite a few fish.

Happy with everything

Great all round trip had by all.

Only 6 fish, this was due to a second spawning taking place.
15 and 20, mirror and common.
Same sturgeon 26lb twice.
Tench and a bream.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Most were caught on 18mm tiger nut cream.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were as expected. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were what you would expect, however there was no oven, this was in the second lodge. The shower was good and hot.

We were happy with the lodge and had a great time.

General Comments:

Gérard and Carla are great hosts and looked after us, they came and explained where everything was and told us to call if we needed anything. A very lovely couple and very passionate about their lake.

We had 13 fish out in the week, now I have a new pb of 31lb 4oz

Snowman, their own wafter, tigernut cream wafter with yellow pop up sat on top, had most of our fish out on this

Yes perfect just right for a nice stay

Yes both was amazing people, always happy to help and checked in on you every day to see if you was ok and if you needed anything. I will definitely be coming back, amazing place they have
