News from Deux Iles lake

Deux Iles report to 23 avril, 23rd Apr

Last week was the first full one with two fishermen on each island. It was going to be interesting to see how the carp would react. And I'm pretty happy!

Wind, rain, snow, frost overnight and some sunshine did not prevent the four fishermen to catch fishes!

Danny and Luke were on the island based on the left and after only one hour of fishing they had the chance to catch a grass carp of 38lb. They ended the week with a total of seven carps :
2 x 30lb / 4 x 20lb and 1 double.

Daniel and Pete were on the island on the right. After a difficult first day with many unhooks they also finished the week with 7 fishes : 1 x 40lb / 3 x 30lb and 3 x 20lb.

Each angler smashed their PB's !

Deux Iles report to 16 april, 16th Apr

Last week only Bill was present on the lake. After a cup of coffee and a quick walk around the lake Bill began to set up his equipment. He fish boilies, hemp, particles and tiger nuts.

This week was less successful than the previous one with 7 carps. Bill caught 1 x 30 lb, 5 x 20 lb and 1 koi x double.

Being alone he didn't take a lot of pictures. However I took one during its various stalking sessions.

Deux Iles report to 9 april, 9th Apr

My lake opened two weeks ago and I received my first clients. I greeted and we walk around the lake. I help them to choose the best swim due to the weather.

Within 2 hours of fishing they had caught fish already to 30lb and over. They had a spectacular week catching 25 fish, Scott had 2 x 40lb / 5 x 30lb and 3 x 20lb and Ian had 3 x 40lb / 4 x 30lb / 6 x 20lb and 2 upper doubles.

They fish boillies and tiger nuts to the far bank and also use particles.

Ian and Scott will return later this year and possibly bring their family as the accommodation would allow this.

I would like to thanks them for their kindness and good mood! So glad they were my first clients!
