News from Deux Iles lake
May 2016
Deux Iles to 28 may, 28th May
After two weeks off at Deux îles Tyron and his son Bradley arrived saturday morning. This is a difficult period in France with many floods everywhere and a level of the lake especially high!
Despite the rain Bradley and his father managed to catch 22 carps, one koi at 20lb, one tench! In addition, the sturgeon was finally taken at 42lb.
Carps : 4 x 40lb / 9 x 30lb and 10 x 20lb.
They have used 40kg of particles and 20kg of boilies during the week!
The anglers had a great week just fishing simple hair rigged boilies. The location and bait application that is the key at deux isles.. I look forward to seeing them again!

Deux Iles report to 7 may, 7th May
Last week was the first week exclusive with a group of four friends. Robert, Andrew, Gareth and Terrence arrived around 11. A draw was used to determine which groups fished which island.
Gareth and Robert choose first and start to set up on the left island and looked for signs of fish and discussed the best spots to fish. It was funny the banter they had between them. They were a good laugh.
Within only 48 hours, Gareth and Robert had 11 carp and 1 tench on the bank. Robert smashed his PB with a 42lb ! On the other island 4 fish had been caught in the first 48hours with a lump at 41lb !!... Good angling guys! Gareth was the next to beat his pb with a nice linear of 37lb !
The final score for the guys were :
Robert and Gareth 22 carp : 1 x 40lb / 5 x 30lb / 8 x 20lb / 4 upper double / 4 doubles, 2 tench, 2 pikes and 1 zander!
Terry and Andy : 13 carps : 1 x 40lb / 3 x 30lb / 5 x 20 lb / 3 upper double and 1 litttle common.
Final score : 35 carps.
They had a very good week it goes to show if you put the work in you will catch them!! And they were nice guys too i look forward to seeing them again!

Deux Iles to 30 avril, 30th Apr
Last Saturday, 4 anglers were present at the lake. Andy and his son Ben came first and they set up their equipment on the island on the right. Graham, James and their dog 'Nashy" arrived around noon. They had thought of everything even a small barrier for the bridge to let the dog loose on the island :)
The weather was completely different compared to last week: a lot of sun but very low temperatures during the night. Which is not the best for fishing!
Despite this, Andy and Ben managed to caught 9 carps and Andy beat his personal record with a 38.5lb mirror carp : 3 x 30lb / 6 x 20lb.
Graham and James caught 8 carps : 1 x 30lb / 6 x 20lb / 1 upper double and 1 tench.
