Soaring temperatures reached 46 degrees even the number plate on the car dropped off as the glue melted. Carp lay on top disinterested. You could see them all but nothing would entice them to eat only 1 carp caught, 29lb but that's fishing

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

tried everything inc corn, maize chickpea, floting baits but the unusual high temps beat us.

Yes, excellent. Really good. Will go back

Yes, everything was good just a bad week temperature wise.

Yes def. Bruno could not do enough for us. Lovely guy. Loads of room on the swims. Hoping to come again.

Still room for it mature, loads of trees etc planted look forward to fishing it again

With the conditions against us we only managed 6 fish from mid doubles up to low thirties

Fish were caught on popup stacked corn and trimmed 20mm incredible baits "The Trap" boiles.

The facilities at Deux Iles are second to none.

Details of your catches:

18 carp between us upto 35.8lb. A week of un settled weather and the fish thinking about spawning meant that fishing was hard, but there was still plenty lovely fish willing to feed.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

A lot of fish were caught on CC moores pacific tuna boilies, or tiger nuts tipped with pink pop up maize.

The facilities were excellent, the cabins are spacious and comfy. Ample of fridge and freezer space, lovely shower block.

Excellent lake and love the unique design, Bruno was always helpful and full of knowledge. The fish were in tip top condition, looking forward to fishing it again.

Details of your catches:

27 fish in all between 5 anglers, started off slow due to being very hot and fish just finishing spawning for 2nd time in the year. Few mid teens low 20s including some lovely koi's an couple 40s between us first few days 5 days in bigger fish moved in to my swim landed a 44 and 30 but unfortunately had to leave next due to family member falling sick

Cell wafters and cell 18mm topped with a cell topper seem to work better for the bigger fish

Yes excellent facilities very clean and the cabins where spot on very comfortable fishing

Good lake for a brand new lake be nice to go back in few years when it's matures a little along with the fish
