Details of your catches:

Turned out to be a difficult weeks fishing with Paul and Craig on one Island having 2 fish each of 38, 32, 23 and 14 and Lee and Karl on the other Island having just one lost fish. Lee and Karl spent every day fishing the river and did very well catching over a dozen Chub to 3.15. Lots of good sized Roach to 1.02, Bream to 5.13, Barbel to 6.08 and a couple of lost Carp

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Cell over small beds of bait on the lake, Sweetcorn and Pellet on the river

Were the facilities what you expected?

Fantastic Facilities, best i have experienced in France. Clean and Tidy with everything you could want.

Were you happy with them?

General Comments:

The lake owner Bruno deserves credit for his effort in making our trip the best it could be with his advice on both the lake and River, nothing is too much for him even bringing us pizza. The fish on the lake did not really play ball but that is fishing. The river is a hidden gem and kept us entertained. Thanks Bruno

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, even better than expected.

Were you happy with them?

More than happy, one of our party used the hut all week, the rest bivvied up, plenty of room.

Yes.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Definitley, have used Anging Lines a few times always helpful and efficient.

General Comments:

The fishing was slow, hot weather and very little wind. The lake next door (Molineux) also had a very slow week. The fish seemed to be sitting in the weedy areas not moving around much.

Bruno the bailiff was very pleasant offering advice etc. He mentioned that he is thinking of introducing another 50 or so carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Very hot around 36 degrees. We used sticky baits krill with krill pop ups
A piece of sweetcorn with a pink wafter caught the big one.
Carp an absolute beast to get in really good fight.

Details of your catches:

Soaring temperatures reached 46 degrees even the number plate on the car dropped off as the glue melted.
Carp lay on top disinterested. You could see them all but nothing would entice them to eat only 1 carp caught, 29lb but that's fishing

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

tried everything inc corn, maize chickpea, floting baits but the unusual high temps beat us.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, excellent. Really good. Will go back

Were you happy with them?

Yes, everything was good just a bad week temperature wise.
