Various tactics, bottom baits and pop ups. .Beds of maize and hemp and boilies in the margins, the Pacific tuna worked well

Toilets and kitchen area brilliant, clean with never ending hot water. Cabins big clean and dry will be even better when Bruno puts the electric in the next two weeks

Baits worked well are definitely fish based baits such as Tuna and squid based

Stalking, go find the fish, sitting static was just that - sitting.

Heavy baiting didn't work, the carp seemed to avoid large beds of bait, little and often in a number of spots - keep them guessing!

Were the facilities what you expected?

Very good, clean, modern, lots of hot water.
Great having a chalet to camp in. Weigh slings and carp cradle provided.

General Comments:

Had the lake to myself so was able to wander round at will, baiting up numerous spots and then going back later with stalking rod, might not be so easy with four anglers on the lake.

Made the mistake early on of baiting one spot quite heavily, which the carp seemed to avoid, much better on a little and often basis.

Bruno is an angler himself and is a wealth of advice and help, very familiar with the lake and the carp, well worth listening to what he has to say.
