General Comments:

The Coypu were a bit of a problem on peg one diving down on the baited areas at night and biting through rigs. Apart from that the lake, food package and the fishing was superb.

Our party managed to catch 17 carp during the week. All carp, except 1, were caught during the night. Swim 1 (Martyn) 5 mirror carp to 29.15lb and 1 grass carp 20.5lb.
Swim 2 (Robin) 7 mirror carp to 39.15lb.
Swim 3 (Ken) 4 carp to 37lb.

Carp Company Icelandic Red boilies, tipped with fake corn, fished as bottom baits

Yes this was our second visit to La Fonte. The food package provided by Joanne was excellent. The new shower is a great improvement

General Comments:

As discussed with Philippe the removal of the trees on the far bank has dispersed the fish around the lake. Fish can still be caught on the hard spots on the far bank, but not in the same numbers as last year. Planting of some fast growing trees, such as willows and silver birches, along the far bank would return the natural cover for the carp and hopefully improve the catch results.

Fished the far bank as do most people, we fished hard hookers snowman rigs and tipped with whites, yellows and pink popups

Removing branches in the water from the far bank would be of help, lost 4 or 5 carp due to under water snags.
