4 anglers and caught 18 fish between us 2 x 50lb, 3x40lb, 11x 30lb and 2 between 19lb and 26lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Essential Cell Pop ups and Atlantic Heat Pop ups and Wafters all fished tight (3 to 4 metres)to far margin or dam wall.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Lake was very attractive, the food package was the best we have had in France, toilets/shower is a good walk from peg 3 but not an issue once you got use to it.

Were you happy with them?

Water in shower / sink always hot, plenty of fridge / freezer space. Jean-Jaques food is superb, well worth taking the food package.

Yes definitely.

General Comments:

Fishing was quite peggy, left hand peg 1 and right hand peg 3 had the majority of the fish. Lots of fish holding up in the out of bounds area at the time we were there.
The Owner, Chef and baliff are lovely people and very welcoming and Stefan the bailiff knows the spots so ignore him at your peril

Were the facilities what you expected?

Well equipped kitchen, could have been cleaner i.e oven and utensils were greasy. Shower was hot but floor always damp even with heater on due to location.
*Angling Lines comment* Thank you for your feedback. We have discussed with owner Philippe and he will be revamping the toilet & shower facilities in the closed winter season. He will also ask the cleaners to be more vigilant when cleaning the facilities between bookings.

Boilie approach 18mm & 20mm
Bottom baits worked best.
Bait boats used but don't ignore the throwing stick approach.
Essential Cell / Tigernuts / Squid and Plum from Mtechbaits FB
Far margins and close to out of bounds area produced the most fish. But don't ignore open water silt spots. (Keep it simple)

Lake was stunning as expected, in a beautiful area surrounded by woodland.
The Bathroom looks a little tired and dirty, it would benefit from a deep clean and a freshen up between groups.
The food package was amazing Jean-jaques made sure we didn't go hungry all week. Would highly recommend it.

General Comments:

Overall a great holiday was had by everyone on our trip. The lake is so picturesque, swims 1 and 3 fished alot better than 2 but I guess that's just fishing. Unfortunately the out of bounds area does hold up the fish, if this was some how managed better then maybe swim 2 would produce more as it would keep the fish moving around the lake.

The bathroom just needs a spruce up and clean.

Both the owner and the cook/baliff are lovely people and are very welcoming.

There were 4 of us fishing, as a group we managed to catch 19 fish, 4 x 40+, 6 x 30+ 6 x 20+ and 3 between 9lb and 12lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The best tactic seemed to be a tiger nut boilie bottom bait with 2 tiger nuts toppers, this caught 15 of the 19 fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The lake was a nice looking lake, the food package was excellent and the chef Jean cooked some great meals, I would recommend this to anyone booking, deffo worth having when you book the lake.

Were you happy with them?

Most certainly, Phillipe the lake owner pops over a couple of times to check in, lovely gentleman and gave a prize for the biggest fish which was a nice touch.

General Comments:

A couple of things that would improve the experience, the toilet and shower wasnt very clean, this needed to be cleaned properly. The out of bounds area at the far end of the lake needs to be removed as the fish had an area they could move into which we didn't have access to.
