20 carp during the week with the largest @ 56lb 4oz, 2 mid 40s , 2 low 40s and the rest between 17lb and 38lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Small beds of bait using a bait boat to the far margins. Boilies and crushed boilies in the hoppers with liquid attraction. Slack lines and running rigs and the takes were really positive.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Kitchen area was good and a nice seating area outside.
Freezers for bait and a fridge in the kitchen. Shower room was ok but could do with a bit of TLC . Access was a bit tricky after dark and better lighting would be a bonus.

Were you happy with them?

We were happy with the facilities and it was nice to have our evening meal prepared by Jean Jacques who didn’t disappoint with his hosting and culinary skills.
Any comments which may look negative are only suggestions and they would not stop us returning.

100% ! Good food, good fishing and excellent hosts Jean Jacques and Philippe.

General Comments:

Really good trip and our average sizes of fish were amazing. Couple of PB’s broken too.

Over 30 carp 1 catfish 2 x 48 lb 2 x 46lb the rest between 15 and 35 also king of the lake 160lb catfish

Far side tight against bank
Little but often with the bait
Keep trying different baits as the seem to like most

Very happy and the owner was really nice, also had food package the chef was great and food was amazing well worth the money

Definitely, I never been to same place twice but I will definitely go back here in the future

40 fish caught between 3 anglers ranging from 6lb to 51.13lbs including 5 forties and plenty of thirties

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Boilie and pellet mix on all rods with various hook baits. Pop ups, bottom baits, snowman rigs all catching. Most successful bait being tiger nuts

Excellent pegs with slings and unhooking mats. With nice kitchen diner for meals. Meal package from Jean Jacques.

Were you happy with them?

Pegs roomy and tidy. Easy to fish from. Meal package was excellent. Always too much food for the three of us and cooked perfectly.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice social lake with opportunity for runs and decent fish

Can’t praise Jean Jacques highly enough. Excellent food and plenty of it. Every meal was different and enjoyable
