1 x 43lb 7oz , 1 x 37lb 2oz, 1 x 30lb 7oz. 5 between 29lb and 20lb. 11 fish between 5lb and 19lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Simple hair rigs, with bottom baits, over baited areas in the margins. the bigger fish came on the 20mm scopex boilies available from Landes. Smaller fish came on 16mm krill boilies. We baited spots with the ble and trout pellet available from landes. All of our fish came at night the earliest being around 10.30pm and the latest being 7am.
The start of the week had difficult weather conditions with colder days and cold nights, but the baited areas started to produce fish after 2/3 days of constant (but not excessive) baiting. By the end of the week both margins and baited areas in the middle of the lake had produced.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Expectations were exceeded by several times !

Very very pleased with everything. Having said that I really must complain about the incredibly long wi-fi password which took me three attempts to get right!! (Only joking!)

General Comments:

This was the first time we had done a trip like this and cannot make any comparisons, so I can only say how delighted we all were with the venue as a whole, and our hosts Kim and Tony who made us very welcome. We went with the goal to beat our pb's which meant getting into the 30's, and we all achieved that which was great. We were getting a little concerned after no sign of fish for a whole day and night that we were doing something wrong, but we stuck at it and it came together in the end. For us it was the nights that produced despite trying all we could during the day they didn't seem interested, with the exception of 3 off the surface from stalking the margins.

Details of your catches:

Nice mix of commons and mirrors, quite a few 30s and two 40s caught plus various sub 30s. All fish in great condition and even some of the smaller 20s gave excellent fight.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Used all different set ups but found margins fished best. We only fished daytime/evening.

Were the facilities what you expected?

To be honest we had high expectations before arriving and the reality surpassed even these.
We have fished many venues over the years and Landes is by far the best we have ever visited. Tony and Kim could not of been nicer or more helpful and the accommodation and general set up was in our opinion perfect.

Absolutley could not fault.

Simple tactics bright pop ups.

Were the facilities what you expected?

I didn’t expect the facilities to be 5 star they were 6 star. Unbelievable.

Were you happy with them?

The facilities were the best I’ve seen and lived in, it was a villa on the side of lake 10 meters from the lakes edge. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, BBQ evening night.

Tony Kim, lovely people, very helpful we couldn’t ask for more. Definitely going back next year.
