The facilities were even better than we expected.

We had an outstanding holiday my wife and I. Tony and Kim were perfect hosts, they were there, if and whenever we needed them. It was lovely to walk in and find a welcome pack of food and drink, which was greatly appreciated after a long journey.Accomodation was lovely very clean and tidy, and it was great to get into the jacuzzi at the end of the day. Cannot fault this venue at all.

General Comments:

Would love to go back to Les Landes. Lovely to meet Kim and Tony.This is the place to go if you want everything in one package, and a very chilled out holiday, which is what my wife and I needed. Facilities are excellent for anglers and non anglers.

Total fish we had was 76 with 5x 30 plus and 12 fish weighing in high 20s and the rest below 20

Size 18mm single or with a 15 mm double on a blainey p spesh..

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities we way above expected get your own lodge bedrooms kitchen TV etc just like being at home but with the bonus of fishing for some lovely fish. A swimming pool hot sun and lovely hosts. Had a great time would definitely recommend here to anyone including family's the only way of explaining how nice it is is by going, won't be disappointed at all.

Firstly I just want to say what a great venue Les Landes is! I honestly couldn't have wished for a better fishing vacation! Tony and Kim are extremely friendly, helpful, approachable and will do anything in there power to make your stay is the best. The only thing that upsets me is that I know it will be extremely difficult to book again, now and in the future to come! I wish Tony and Kim all the best. Right so down to the catch report.....we caught 43 fish between us in total. The biggest being 36lb on the nose. We had 4 30lb+, 13 20lb+ and many more between 5lb-19lb..... including 1 black bass which went for a snowman pop up (strange eh? Lol).

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The best tactics that worked was 2 either 20mm or 18mm bottom baits on a supple braid, approximately anything between 6-9 inches long. Also the method that worked the best for the bigger fish was feeding chopped boilies every 1-2 hours and casting your hookbait on the spot 5 mins after feeding. Our bigger catches came from the corners of the lake, approximately 15-20 from the corner. Feeding pellet still worked but attracted the smaller fish. We used mainline cell and Sticky krill. But when running out of bait I purchased the squid and octopus from Tony which also caught me a few fish. Hope this helps.

Details of your catches:

40+ carp caught to 35.8lb. Only myself fishing and only for periods of the day and 3 of the 7 nights. Most catches came early in the morning, mid afternoon and early evening.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Most tactics seemed to work, however the most successful was a 20mm boilie topped with a 14mm boilie (both bottom baits) fished over a prebaited area

Were the facilities what you expected?

They were more than what I expected. On arrival the gite and surrounding areas were immaculate. The pool was in pristine condition and kept the wife and kids occupied whilst I was fishing and also gave me a somewhere to cool off in the 30+degree heat.

Were you happy with them?

Kim & Tony were the perfect hosts, always there when you needed them and likewise left you alone when you didn't. They are constantly on the go trying to improve the facilities but always considerate not to disrupt your holiday.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

100% All of my fishing friends and family have been told. I just hope I haven't told too many people causing it to be over booked when I want to re-book

Could not fault Angling lines at all. Took away all the hassle of searching for ferry crossings. keeping me well informed of everything that was going on.
