General Comments:

Fantastic venue, I would say best family venue we have been to.
An absolute must for any angler and if with a family it wont disappoint. Kim and Tony are exceptional hosts and always on hand to offer help - or generally chatting about the region with other stuff to do whilst on your trip.
So much for them to be entertaining whilst your rods are in the water and location of gite so close to the waters edge really puts this up at the top of the wish list in venues .
And to top it all great owners kim and Tony which make your holiday so enjoyable

Details of your catches:

1150Ib of fish starting from Saturday evening until dark through to Friday night until dark. We had 8 40s, 11 30s and 12 20s. Our biggest were 43 and 45 (& ounces) with the 50s evading us on this occasion. We had a lovely 42Ib common within this haul

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

A rod length off far margins using Tony and Kim’s carpet feed with big fish and code 18mm boilies.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The lakeside gite was lovely, to be able to sit out, drink, have a bbq and hot tub whilst rods were in was fantastic. The swimming pool was perfect and was a god send in the high temperatures.

Were you happy with them?

Very happy with the facilities. The coolers were much needed and we learnt that mosquito plugs and spray was handy.

General Comments:

My 3rd time fishing in France and this place is a real gem, would definitely recommend. Kim & Tony are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble and very helpful in advice and local amenities

Fished Sunday-Friday. 4 hours mornings, and 8 hours afternoon into evening. No nights.
9 Common and 7 mirrors
3-40s,
3-30s,
7-20s.
PB 49.4 mirror. The mirrors were the big boys.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Used baitboat to far margins. 2 buckets carpet feed + some boilies and pellets.
Size 6 D rig. Hookbait was 2 boilies, 18&15mm. Nutrabaits big fish.
