Laroussi session produces 3 carp over 50lb - biggest 69.06, 8th Nov

Mike Dagnall has just experienced a fantastic week (w/c 29th Oct '11) taking 21 carp, the biggest 3 being;

* 69.06

* 55.08

* 53.00

He also had 3 sturgeon @ 52, 56 & 62. Quite a session!

Laroussi tench is a new French record!, 14th Oct

It’s now official that the 15.03 Tench caught at Laroussi by Janet Johnson in July is the new French record.

61lb mirror is the reward for a hard week, 23rd Sep

Roy Van Goor landed this magnificent 61lb mirror on 23rd September 2011.

Here’s his comments;

“It was another hard week with just several sturgeon, grasscarp & 1 small common untill Friday morning. Then my luck changed and carp of 22, 39 and 61 lb were banked in a few hours. A new pb and I’m very happy! My friend had 3 during the week…22, and 2 x 39′s. We will be back.”

Fantastic brace â€“ 62lb 15oz & 58lb 8oz, 1st Aug

Alexander Juszczak has just had the session of a lifetime at Laroussi (w/c 13th August) smashing his PB twice: first a 58lb 8oz mirror followed by a 62lb 15oz mirror!

He also lost a couple of heavy fish & had a huge catfish, over 2m long, which was too heavy to weigh. Estimated at way over 100lb, Mehdi thinks it was probably the monster of the lake uncaught since a couple of years.

He also had a big sturgeon & a 30lb grass carp.

Successful tactics were to fish into a silty channel & everyday introduce about 15-20 spods of hemp, corn and groundbait and a different sizes of boilies from 12 to 18mm, dumbells, etc.

Here’s his comments; “After a bit of struggle in May this year, this time was a session of lifetime with 2 Pb’s smashed.
