Used very little bait as felt that the fish weren't feeding in my swim, kept to the same spots and didn't spread bait every where in the swim

Very hard week, cold north wind all week didn't help the fishing, lovely lake cant wait to go back

15 fish caught biggest 61.08 fishing was very slow due to the fish staring to spawn then stopped with the cold temperatures 2 big sturgeon caught 70 plus

Different tactics caught some over quite big beds others coming to small amounts

General Comments:

absolutely stunning venue medhi the owner was very helpful but left us to our fishing we will be returning in the future

Details of your catches:

We had a few 40s, 30s and 20s. Point swim area been most productive. We also had catfish to 65lb and sturgeon to 60lb

Several different methods working. Mainly wafters and pop ups over small amounts of bait. Lads had a few bites on singles casting to showing fish.

Overall I loved laroussi. Would love to go back.

Details of your catches:

Around 30 fish throughout the week with carp up to 48lb. Two sturgeon out at 60 and 50ish (not weighed). One catfish at 65lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Majority of fish caught from the point, you could see that they where all in the bay with only a few caught on the main lake. Small baits and small beds. Lots of bait pushed them away.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Super facilities, toilet and shower with a huge freezer for bait and a fridge freezer for food.

Were you happy with them?

Very happy

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes definitely, hopefully go back in a couple of years. Medhi was great, very helpful and let you get on with fishing.
