I think I had around 10/11 carp in just a few days! Absolutely epic place and the carp are beautiful! The first two fish I had were both over 40lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Small snowmen on slip d combi rigs, heavy on the bait did the trick for me

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities here are next level. This is luxury carping at its finest! AIR CON in the cabin was a DREAM in 38 degrees and with it being so close to the rods the option to sleep in the cabin is also a real treat. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen and 2 shower rooms! If you go for a swim without the cabin, the canteen and shower room are also the same standard and more than cater for any angler wanting great facilities

General Comments:

What a gem this place is. From the moment I arrived it reminded me of a mini Rainbow. there are features everywhere you look, its any carp anglers absolute dream, surrounded by rolling fields, abundant with wildlife and birds. I honestly can't praise this one enough, it's a venue I could see myself coming back to time and time again.

Details of your catches:

In total we had 9 carp, ranging from mid 20's to 50lb. All the fish were in pristine condition. 4 of which were commons, then the rest were mirrors.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We were fishing pegs 2 & 3. 2 anglers on peg 2 fished straight out to the middle the lake about 43 yards. There was a low grassy bank, and on the first night the 50lb came out. All together the peg produced the mid carp plus mid 30lb common.
On peg 3, 1 angler 4 fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities were great, the cabin with cooking facilities was great, and the shower room is brilliant.

Definitely, had many trips to France with Angling Lines and we only have good things to say about the venues and people that arrange our holidays.

General Comments:

At the venue we met Thierry, he was a great bloke and couldn't do enough for you. We would recommend the venue to anyone. Local shops about 10 to 20 mins away.

Details of your catches:

I had a 42lb mirror and a 5lb common. George had a 41lb mirror and commons of 24lb and 20lb. The weather wasn’t on our side - very cold and overnight frost on a few nights but we are very happy with what we caught due to the cold snap. We had other anglers fishing at the same time, one group of 2 had most fish from peg 4 but each group all caught 40lb+ fish from all areas of lake. Quite snaggy in places, we lost a few fish to this.

We fished pop ups on ronnie rigs over boilies, particles and pellets.

The facilities were more than I expected and improvements were also taking place.

General Comments:

On arrival I was blown away by the size and the layout of the venue. The cabins are stunning and the amount of water you have per peg is plenty. You shouldn’t have any problems with other anglers as the layout is ideal to peg positions.
