We tried everything, Carl's fish was on 12 mm yellow pop up on a spinner rig. Mine bottom bait over particle and boilies

The facilities were fantastic best we had to be fair. Ray has done a blinding job on the bungalows and the lake and surroundings, top notch and spotless!

Yes i would but not for a load of bites, as it was challenging to say the least

General Comments:

The fishing was not easy, for our week anyway, very long time between bites for two of us anyway. Didn't see much movement, see a handful of carp jump, they didn't seem to feed. Had 1 fish on my boilies, the other 2 on Rays baits which are readily available to purchase, very frustrating waiting for a bite.

Lovely place. We had torrential rain for 5 days but what a lovely place. The owner Ray very friendly and useful tips and advice

Pineapple pop ups and 16/12mm snowmen with bright colour baits . Used site carp company Icelandic reds / seed of weed / black squid / particle

General Comments:

We all loved the the lake and the the facilities but the lake didn’t seem to be fishing. 5 fish between 3 anglers in a week isn’t good at this time of year. We took the advice from ray but didn’t do much good. We fished many methods and tactics but nothing stood out . The water was a strange colour and one member of our party said the claimed number of fish in the lake seemed optimistic . Maybe the conditions were not in our favour

Caught in open water and in margins over boillies and Rays particle. Hook baits with bright topper on standard hair rigs and D rigs.

General Comments:

We had a fantastic weeks fishing on a well looked after lake with a good stock of pristine fish. Took the lake record at 62lb 3oz. Also had a 61lb mirror that fought hard for 1hour 15 minutes (witnessed by the owner Ray) who was a fantastic host offering plenty of advice when required and letting us fish undisturbed as we liked. A really nice chap.
