Brown wafters topped with maize and solid bags with pink barrel wafters seemed to do well

The facilities were as you would expect, the chalet was lovely and modern and clean.

Definitely, ray the owner was helpful and accommodating.

Definitely, really nice little lake with some nice fish in it, a beautiful setting and well looked after, I will be returning.

Angling lines have always been up there with the best of the best. They are fantastic from start to finish

Great venue, beautiful surroundings. Would be perfect for families or those looking for a really nice accommodation to add to their holiday. The carp are in immaculate condition and the surroundings are beautiful. Really lovely venue

All bottom baits snowman with plenty of boilies and particle all bait boated out to spots.

Could do with better quality WiFi in the lodge to stream tv better

We ended up collectively catching 16 carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We chose our spots around the lake trying to cover as much water as possible. The carp were showing all around the lake and it wasn't long before we started catching quite easily up until Tuesday then the weather turned. It absolutely bounced it down for 4 days and nights, the amount of cold water and quick drop in temperature seemed to slow the carp down. The water level must have risen 6-8 inches over 4 days.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. Graham was feeling unwell so only fished daytime close to the gite but he loved the gite, “better than been at home” he said on more than one occasion.

General Comments:

I really enjoyed fishing here and can definitely see it appealing to a wide range of anglers. Small groups with a mix of experienced and less experienced anglers, serious angler with family members, anglers who prefer small exclusive venues with big carp in.
I can see this venue in summer time being a runs water with the chance of catching large carp too, we did hear at night huge fish crashing even in the rain.
