A few photos from 2018, 22nd Jan

Back in 2018, work was done on the lake to build up the banks and it was left fallow for some time - we thought you might want to see a couple of photos from that. Since then the lake has been filled again and the carp were stocked.

The lake has good water depth with the dam wall end reaching 3 metres. Much of the lake averages 1.5 to 2.5 metres and as you can see, it is a fairly uniform bottom. The base of the lake is mainly silt with some gravel patches and the old stream bed runs through the middle.
