Details of your catches:

52 carp caught in the week 2 x <10lb 19 x doubles 12 x twenties 14 x thirties 5 x forties. Some bream/ tench/ pike Biggest was a 49lb 1oz Mirror which was part of a brace including a 48lb common. Fish were in great condition with a good variety of commons and different types of mirror. Some ghost/ koi carp were caught as well.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing within a rod length of the far bank. Plenty of boilie seemed to bring fish onto feed. A range of rigs/ hookbaits produced fish including matching and bright pop ups and boilie topped with corn. At the start of the week the fish seemed to congregate up one end of the lake but did move. Some pegs produced better than other in terms of the size of fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, very clean. It is pretty much a mile round trip from the furthest pegs so some planning may be required.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes. This is already an excellent lake and will definitely get better.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

Yes.

General Comments:

We were very pleased with our trip to Seigneurie. Bruno is a great lake owner who provided advice when asked but then left us alone to work out the best way to go about things. Issues were dealt with quickly. To fish the far bank a cast of around 140 yards is required. We used a bait boat and found this to be very helpful. The nearest supermarket is within 5 minutes and is very useful.

Fantastic venue, and Bruno was a great host and very helpful. The lake has loads of features to fish to which each sets its own challenges. Loverly local area with a fantastic local town with supermarkets and restaurants.

Details of your catches:

It was a really slow week across the whole lake, largely due to the weather being so inconsistent. The fish were ready to spawn but were holding off. This meant that they were pretty much held up in one spot, which luckily for me was my end of the lake. I ended up with 12 fish up to 43lb and my pal only ended up with 2 Carp to 38lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

You will 100% need a bait boat to reach the far margin unless you can confidently and accurately cast and spomb to 140yds or in some case 160yds. Bruno's particle mix is really good and I found that everything worked but a snowman pacific tuna and 10mm white pop up worked best.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yep they were fine, although it is a bit of a trek to get to the shower/toilet. There are bikes provided which helped.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, the only thing I would say was needed is a bin at the rear of each swim.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes, but looking at the feedback and our own experience, I wouldn't say this can be classed as a runs water as the average on a good week is around 10 -12 fish per angler. For me a runs water would be 20 fish+ per angler each week consistently.

General Comments:

A lovely lake in nice quiet surroundings and some absolutely cracking and hard fighting fish. The town which is 2 minutes away has everything you need from a supermarket to a pizza place and a kebab shop if you don't fancy cooking. Bruno is a really good guy and is always on hand to offer advice and help. The only disappointment is that there are some lovely gravel patches all over the lake but for some reason the fish all seem to be in the opposite margins, which like I have mentioned unless you can cat accurately and Spomb to 120-160 yards then you will definitely need a bait boat. Our week changed as soon as we went and bought one and I went from having no fish for the 1st few days to 12 by the end of the week.
