In the back bay on the single swim I was in, under the willow tree in the corner as close as you can get and the far margin about 2 rod lengths off. Flourocarbon d rig with wafter

Facilities were excellent, the cleanest I have used

Yes, 1st time with angling lines and they were very good. Will definitely use again.

A lovely water, that's very well kept. Bruno is a fantastic owner.

19 carp caught up to 39lb mirror. 6 of the carp were between 15-20lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We bait boated the far margins but struggled to get a run during daylight from any of the double swims - just 3 fish in what appeared to be perfect conditions.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes facilities were excellent - probably up there with the best we’ve experienced. As we were aware the trip to the toilets/showers were lengthy but Bruno has supplied the bikes, which help.

Were you happy with them?

Yes for sure.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes - with the caveat that you may need to be prepared to be up and down during the night rather than catch in daylight in our experience

Absolutely - everything is simple to book a week
