General Comments:

Lovely lake in peaceful surroundings. All the fish are in excellent condition and look to have the potential to grow bigger. Friendly welcome from Bruno who’s happy to give advice and help out of needed.

Listen to Bruno! That’s the best piece of advice I can give you! Our week started on Saturday 01/04/23. The weather was not on our side, the night time temperatures dropped to -3, it was warmer back home. The first bite came on Tuesday evening and keep coming for the rest of the trip, despite the cold nights they were quite productive and that’s when we caught the bigger fish. Ashley’s first fish 41lb common was his biggest of the week, my biggest of the week followed an hour later a 40lb common. 24 carp were caught between us. Mostly mid twenties and a handful of thirties. Make sure you you do a few gun sessions before you visit! Not for picking up the fish for a picture but for the intense under the rod tip fight a long surges that’ll have your forearms burning.

Make sure you bring a bait boat otherwise you’ll struggle.

Seigneurie is a beautiful lake excellent facilities. The local town has all you need and is only a short drive.

Bruno’s particle mix is really good, lots of different ingredients and properly prepared.

Baitworks royal marine boilies 5kg per day, spread over 3 rods. I used a 3oz inline lead set up with a dark matter braid with a size4 korda wide gape hook with a 18mm boilie.
