In the back bay on the single swim I was in, under the willow tree in the corner as close as you can get and the far margin about 2 rod lengths off. Flourocarbon d rig with wafter

Yes, 1st time with angling lines and they were very good. Will definitely use again.

General Comments:

A lovely water, that's very well kept. Bruno is a fantastic owner.

19 carp caught up to 39lb mirror. 6 of the carp were between 15-20lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We bait boated the far margins but struggled to get a run during daylight from any of the double swims - just 3 fish in what appeared to be perfect conditions.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes facilities were excellent - probably up there with the best we’ve experienced. As we were aware the trip to the toilets/showers were lengthy but Bruno has supplied the bikes, which help.

Yes for sure.

Yes - with the caveat that you may need to be prepared to be up and down during the night rather than catch in daylight in our experience

General Comments:

Nice lake, tidy facilities, pleasant owner.

52 carp caught in the week
2 x <10lb
19 x doubles
12 x twenties
14 x thirties
5 x forties.
Some bream/ tench/ pike

Biggest was a 49lb 1oz Mirror which was part of a brace including a 48lb common.

Fish were in great condition with a good variety of commons and different types of mirror. Some ghost/ koi carp were caught as well.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing within a rod length of the far bank. Plenty of boilie seemed to bring fish onto feed. A range of rigs/ hookbaits produced fish including matching and bright pop ups and boilie topped with corn.

At the start of the week the fish seemed to congregate up one end of the lake but did move. Some pegs produced better than other in terms of the size of fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, very clean. It is pretty much a mile round trip from the furthest pegs so some planning may be required.

Yes. This is already an excellent lake and will definitely get better.

General Comments:

We were very pleased with our trip to Seigneurie. Bruno is a great lake owner who provided advice when asked but then left us alone to work out the best way to go about things. Issues were dealt with quickly.

To fish the far bank a cast of around 140 yards is required. We used a bait boat and found this to be very helpful.

The nearest supermarket is within 5 minutes and is very useful.
