Sixty carp between five of us, we all had 40lb+ carp, topped off by Michael catching the biggest one in the lake at 66lb and 7oz

Spinner and ronnie rigs. The particle mix Bruno supplied is brilliant, bait boat works great

Yes, shower and toilet block lovely and clean, the shed hut with freezers and fridge microwave is perfect

Definitely, Bruno was so helpful even when I caught a rogue catfish at 42 lb and helped us order pizza for birthday celebration on last night

I have no words, the trip of a lifetime comes to mind for first even trip to France it was perfection!

Mix of boilie pellet and Bruno's particle, most fish were caught on pink wafters or a wafter tipped with pink wafter

Yes, as described, long walk to the toilet which is going to be shortened by a new toilet on the road bank which will be a massive help

General Comments:

Most of the fish came from the willow with Nathan banking 62 fish including 4 x 50lb fish biggest 54lb. Biggest fish was banked by Neil at 57lb also from the willows. Best looking fish was the 49lb fully scaled caught by Nathan.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fished to far margin, over big beds of bait 5-10kg per day upon Brunos advise. Fished yellow hookbaits. Had bites from popups and bottom baits. We also stalked a few from the far margins as well, pays to try and find the fish. The water is clear so they can be found easily.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Brilliant. Clean shower and toilet facilities with drinking water and a nice hot shower.

Yes, the lake is lovely and mature, very picturesque in a great location with a nice nearby town. The fish are well cared for, Bruno takes a real pride in the fishery and the fish.

General Comments:

Fantastic week. We've been to Deux Iles a few times and thought it was about time we visited Brunos other lake and we were not disappointed. A brilliant week that will take some beating. The fish were on the feed and were really hard fighting.

My mate was catching on 2 pop up corn. I was on 2x 12mm pop ups, white and yellow trimmed down and also had one on a wafter.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The shower was clean and very hot and the toilet was also clean. Had 2 kitchen sinks in there with drinking water. The wooden hut had 2 fridge/freezers, a chest freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave in there. Also plug sockets to charge headlights, power packs etc. Plus seating area.

Yes, we were very happy.

Bruno was a top guy and will give you all the information you need. He’d put you on the fish and tell you the spots on where to fish. Always making sure the lake was in top condition, wether it was getting you out of a snag or doing general work around the lake so big credit to him.
