Details of your catches:

As a group of 4 we caught 26 fish In total. Me personally, I only caught 5 but I had a new PB 52lb 02oz common carp. One of the lads we were with had a 62lb 02oz common carp out that made our trip an experience we won’t forget.

Snowman rig with one of Burno’s boillies with a pink 12mm Buch-Berry pop-up fished over a bed of particles & tiger nuts.

Yes absolutely. The lake is spectacular, very beautiful, clean & tidy. The toilets & shower were very clean, the shower was lovely & warm & powerful. There was big fridges & freezers to keep all our food & drink cold.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Yes 100% & already have, definitely would consider coming back to have another go!

Yes 100%. It’s really easy to book through Angling lines.

General Comments:

If I had to give this place any constructive criticism the peg we were fishing was Willow 1, if you’re fishing the right-hand side of the swim I found it quite difficult to land the bigger fish as the swim only has one step down to the water level on the left. It really needs another step on the other side as it can get quite messy trying to land big carp with 5 other rods in the water even though they were all back leaded down! I also fell down a big hole in the swim while playing a fish in the night, really cut my leg open, cleaned it with beer! Definitely need a decent bait boat to fish this lake as the fish were all in the far margin 100meters away. The toilets & shower block was quite a trek away as you had to go round the long way to get to them. Push bikes were provided but I brought my own electric off-road scooter which was an absolute game changer. Bruno was very friendly & helpful with all his knowledge of the lake, you definitely need to listen to his advice on where to fish. One of the other lads with us didn’t and only ended up catching one carp up the other end of the lake on his own.

Brunos Boilie and pellets and party mix. Lots of bait and work the lake. Listen to Brunos advice.

Yes... toilets were immaculate. Pegs lots of room.

This venue is a must. Will be returning in the future. Defo recommend it.

This is the second time used Angling Lines... they are spot on. Would only go through Angling Lines, so helpful.

Fabulous week, 40 fish caught, the group lost 20 fish, and a big thanks to Bruno... what a bloke.

General Comments:

Fishing 10/10 Amazing condition and fight like demons , Facilities 9/10 ( only because of below , please see ) Shower - toilet -water on other side of lake so 10 min casual walk . On Plus side tho bikes provided on each swim which thought brilliant idea . Just a mention if others looking , but in no way be put off as you will miss out on an amazing trip . Cabin is a great addition with 2 fridge freezers and chest freezer, microwave, electric for all pegs and seating for a social meal . One more great note , One of the lads was struggling with first france trip , after 3 days 1 lost fish , bruno ( with permission first ) spends hr or 2 clearing away any bits of snag in his swim , rakes bottom and takes rig out in boat . Generous scattering of bait over top . Result that a 39lb 8oz mirror that night , if that ain't above and beyond for your customers than I don't what is . Brilliant. Highly highly recommended
