Update on fishing, 12th Apr

Just a brief update on the fishing at sky and generally in France at present... it´s quite difficult as the temperature has not risen greatly and I feel that we are around 2 weeks behind...

The water is still only 10* as Sky is deep being 3-5m and takes a while to warm up and get the fish active ...some fish are getting caught and biggest out this week a 55lb common, the fish are coming out to small tight beds of skylake bait and a few on zigs but most to sky boilie..

Impressive Growth Rate, 7th Feb

Recently we were able to see the growth rate of a common stocked in 2020. 1st picture is owner Andy with a new carp in May 2020 at 19lb and it was caught yesterday at 41lb that’s a massive growth of 22lb!

Have a look at this, exactly 1 year apart. One of our babies that we kept in the nursery then released into the lake when it was safe to do so... what a growth rate.
