A Review, 5th Oct
Thanks to Zac Foley for this review:
"What more can I say than this place is what dreams are made of! A unbelievable weeks fishing with the lads, incredible hosts and hospitality couldn’t ask for much more!
Considering the weather couldn’t make up its mind we done a good head of fish between the 8 of us with a good few PBs coming out.
First time going to France fishing and I can happily say I won’t be visiting anywhere else.
We have already booked for next available week which is a while away.
Like to thank Andy, Bernie and Rob for providing a top quality holiday and an amazing lake.
Here’s some images I’d like to share. Once again a big thank you off the Liverpool lads, we can’t wait to get back out already."

Catch Report, 4th Oct
Haven’t updated stuff from the last few weeks as we’ve been so busy just ran out of time because as you all know it’s mental on here at the moment with so many fish coming out…
Heres a handful of fish that’s been out in the last couple of weeks..
We also had some big fish over 55lb that anglers could not pick up due to not physically being able.
Also a bit of fantastic news in 1 way but not in the other, Martin Simmons had a take 2 weeks ago and we watched as he played the fish for a good while and then netted a fish which we knew straight away as being 1 of the big commons which we’d not seen for over 3 years and last out at just under 70lb.
As we went to remove the fish we saw it was attached to another line and Martin was attached to the line so she had been trailing for god knows how long, so not to stress her any longer we just let her go.

Another PB broken, 4th Oct
Already breaking his pb not once but twice since Saturday, Luke Popplewell broke it for a third time tonight with his 64lb common... still 4 nights to go!

"Well that’s another week on the awesome sky lake done again. I can’t write just how amazing the lake is and how much the owners Andy, Rob and Bern do for you. They make you feel so welcome. The relaxed atmosphere is second to none and the food is spot on.
Finally the FISHING is unbelievable! Not loads of fish but the fish I had WOW! I managed 6 fish to 67:00 with back ups of 51 pounds 44 pound and some super fast growing stockies to 32:8.
THANK YOU so much and I can’t wait to get back next year to have a crack at one of them big mirrors."
