Back at the lake, 11th Mar

Well back at the lake now for the year ready to welcome all you budding carpistes old and new yet again …

Put my rods out for the first time this year and boom 💥 a mint 40lb common to open my account ( pack up now with a good average 😉)

Caught as per usual on lake bait blah blah blah ..I get bored of saying it 😂😂😂

Merry Christmas!, 25th Dec

Nick, who looks after the lake over Christmas is well and truly smashing it… And yes he’s had the pet at 79lb and upped his P.B amongst the 40’s and 50’s galore that he’s had. I’m sure he’s now approaching 50 fish which isn't bad considering he’s only been fishing for around 5 days. Filling it in with loads of boilie/particle and pellet as normal is his winning method to keep them coming ..last night another 8 fish! Fishing from peg 1 …

Well done pal …keep it up and catch some of them elusive big commons 👌
