Dave's Quest for 20lbs Leads to Monster Fish, 5th Sep
Dave came to beat his 19lb PB, hoping to land a 20lb+ and finally break into the 20s. He's had a couple of monster fish! His scales weren't quite up to the challenge - the dial read 37lb and 52lb, but the 37lb was a real struggle to lift, and the 52lb is none other than our Soviet friend! Lake of Memories truly living up to its name! 🙌🎣

A week of 2 halves, 22nd Aug
A week of 2 halves, initially hot and sunny, later milder with showers and sunshine. In the woods we welcomed David and Glenn, both first time visitors here. After a slow start Glenn made a move from peg 7 to 11 and had a red letter day and night landing 7 fish including a PB Common at 44lb 14oz, he struggled to keep his rods in the water. Dave had a couple of Commons but couldn't match Glenns session sadly.

Woods bank updates, 11th Aug
July has been a busy month on Woods Bank. The new toilet and shower block has been sited, with plumbing and electrics now underway. A covered terrace has also taken shape, and the roof is already in place.
The toilet is set and ready for use, while the shower is awaiting a few finishing touches before it’s complete. Once everything is done, the result will be a fantastic new seating and eating area with an adjacent toilet and shower block.
And of course, no work party is complete without some time on the rods – with plenty of carp landed throughout the month!

New PB from Brooke!, 8th Jul
Brooke and her Dad Garry arrived hoping to break her 28lb PB. Well she's done it...twice...this morning!! She barely dried her hair from the first bucketing and her rod was away for the second time. 32lbs for the first was dwarfed by a 45lbs monster barely an hour later! Memories made!!
