Latest Bait List, 4th Mar

2014 sees some slight changes to the bait available at Villefond. You can see the revised list below;

PREPARED PARTICLE;

* Maize 1kg 3 euros

* Particle 1kg 3.50 euros

BOILIES;

* Plum Nut 1kg 10 euros

(Plum Nut, A natural Red coloured bait with a rich nutty under tones and a subtle plum flavor)
A excellent all year round bait this is the number 1 fish catcher on our lake by a mile. This bait has accounted for more fish and bigger fish than any other and still the fish can’t resist it.)

* Supreme Blood Worm 1kg 10 euros

(Supreme Blood Worm, A Black bait made from a extremely high protein fish meal, dried blood powder and blood worm flavor. This Boilie is extremely high in protein and unbeatable for packing weight on the carp. A excellent carp catcher, due to it being so high in protein this is a summer bait.)

* Coconutty 1kg 10 euros

(A natural pale coloured bait with a rich nutty under tones and a subtle coconut flavour)

New for 2014 this bait has been brought in because a lot of people like a coconut bait but as with all our baits we leave out the preservatives bad for the fish and include much high quality ingredients so unlike other coconut flavour baits the fish feed heavily and not just pick the odd one.

It has been a real pleasure to watch Villefonds fish grow into some real monsters. We have been discussing for some time which fish are going to be the next biggest caught so I decided to compile a new list detailing the top 5 to date, as of February 2014.

First Fifty in the New Year, 7th Jan

Fishery owner John Lambert went fishing on Villefond for literally a couple of hours on Jan the 5th 2014 with two rods and a couple of PVA bags of the house bait and caught his PB a monster mirror known as Slate Grey at 51 lb!

A great result and just goes to show how the right bait in the right spot with the right rig can quickly result in a stunning fish!
