Basic but ok. Advice to be taken:- take your own barrow there’s are a bit small like shopping trolleys not sturdy go over if loaded up.

General Comments:

The bailiff Mark Lambert only saw him on arrival but as described was supposed to be there to advise and help but was never seen. *Angling Lines note* We have spoken to the venue about this and understand that Debbie or John were at the lake twice a day to deliver the food packages, Mark also delivered the breakfast one of the days. We urge customers to let the owners know at the time or, if they are not down at the lake at the time, to give them a call if you would like any advice. Mark would be very happy to discuss but was unaware of a problem. We apologise if you felt this was not communicated to your party.

There were four experienced anglers on this lake and we tried every trick in the book to get these fish to feed with even one angler not catching anything during the week. This fishery is advertised as a heavily stocked water but we saw no evidence of this during our week.

I was happy with the ease of booking and the info packs.

Do angling lines ever do health checks on the waters throughout the year or do they just rely on the reviews. *Angling Lines note* Yes, we do carry out lake visits. No where do we advertise Villefond as 'heavily stocked', we understand it is not a runs water and would not like to imply such. As per our comments on your group's other feedbacks, we're sorry your group had a particularly tough week.

General Comments:

As carpers for numerous years its more than a hard water to fish. Pitty mark never made more of a effort to see us even when leaving 🤔 Ordered hemp for on arrival didn't receive it till 3 days later Noticed blue oily patches on the water next day dead weed appearing For a small lake with over 200+fish its hard to understand thay weren't feeding as thay spawned 2 weeks earlier also perfect weather conditions *Angling Lines note* As per our comments on your group's other feedbacks we are sorry you had a tough week on the lake. Regarding the bait, we understand that there was an error made with your order for which the lake owners apologised, delivering 2kg of hemp free of charge on the Sunday (which is all they had available on site) and the rest on Monday which was the soonest they could have done so. Regarding 'blue oily patches' the lake owners have absolutely not added anything to treat the water, weed has not been an issue on Villefond so unfortunately we can not explain this comment.

yes exactly as described, we knew there was no mains electric so came well prepared. Shower is good, facilities are clean and Debbie John and Mark kept us well supplied with ice packs every day and charged our power banks and batteries when needed

General Comments:

When we arrived it was 30 degrees and fish were spawning, by the end of the week we had heavy rain and 80mph winds and they were still spawning but we had a excellent week. The lake is in a quiet spot but not too far from the local shops. Debbie John and Mark are great hosts, I would recommend it to any one
