Yes definitely, it is tough but the fish are well worth the effort. The family who run it are very nice and a great help.

A variety of tactics and rigs from zigs, boilies, naturals and pop ups, the fish aren’t easy to catch so we were constantly changing our approach and rigs until we got it right

Yes, 2nd time we’ve been here, which says it all. Every thing needed and more, hot powerful shower, clean toilet facilities first.

General Comments:

First of all we would like thank Debbie for the food (and her friend for a couple of days) as it was exceptional. thank you John for the service with a smile, I honestly could be soaking and blanking but he would still make you laugh every day. In regards to the fishing it isn’t easy, don’t expect to turn up and fish on a bed of bait and sit back and wait.You need to work for every bite and constantly adapt to the forever changing situations. Mark is brilliant and will give you advice, however as much as his tactics will help with a bite it won’t guarantee it.

We used many different tactics that caught from using Villefond rig over particle to zig fishing with foam to scattered bailie approach.

The carp play hard but the reward is fantastic. The carp are in lovely condition with a good stock of 30,s 40,s and the odd 50,s on the bank.
