We only had 3 carp between the 4 of us for the seven days. Beautiful lake and surroundings, caravan could do with up dating. We got what it said on the tin. nice venue

yes, went on our own before but will use you again, to have it all done for us was great and we could change the ferry etc no problem.

We done ok but lost quite a few fish, I had 10 takes the first day and waited for a run rather than the blip... only after did I realise,they are finnicky takers! The biggest was a forty, but we had around 16 carp in the week. The majority were thirties. Only two twenties.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The fish were in good condition, beautiful carp and its a lovely place. You have to be on top of your rods and pick up on the blip don't wait for a screaming run.We used pop ups and found fruit flavours didn't work as well as spicy at the time. Single pieces of maize also worked.

yes, It just lacks the electric but they were really helpful did all charging for us.

Lovely lake and the most amazing fish.

1 fish 43.12 common spawned out, lost 3 in overhanging trees sadly.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

pop up bolie done all the fish but we didnt really find anything that seemed to produce well the fish seemed like they was on naturalls mostly and they was riggy over baited areas tryed singles but theres tons of crayfish so you just get hammerd if you dont protect your baits.

General Comments:

lovely lake smaller than the lakes i useally fish but its nice, and all fish are massive which would bring me back in a few years probally mark and john was great hosts and we enjoyoed the holiday even though we struggled due to spawning fish and boling hot weather at lest we got a sun tan :D Although we didnt mind the crays angling lines shouldnt say theres hardly any in there becuase there are litrally millions. *** NOTE FROM ANGLING LINES *** We will update the Website immediately to reflect this.
