General Comments:

Stunning venue with some corking fish of a very large average weight.Crays a slight henderance in shallow water, no problem with crays in deeper open water.Mark and John were very helpful & accomidating, facilities are spot on with a nice warm shower.Thanks to Mark for cooking the fresh particle. Altough the hot weather made the fishing slow to begin with the carp noticably switched on when the temperature cooled. We'll be back soon for anougher dabble!

For whatever reason the fishing was quite tough, although all 4 anglers managed to catch a few good fish. I had a 35+ and a 36+ (mirrors), Root a 35+ and 37+ (mirror), Tel a couple of big twenties and Wol had a 41+ Common.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Small patches of bait tight to marginal trees, single 15mm boilie with grain of artifical corn.

General Comments:

Lovely venue, obviously plently of big fish in there (we saw them even if we didnt catch them), great, freindly and sensible owners and set in lovely tranquil countryside.

We will definitley return and this time get one of the real big ones !

Details of your catches:

We only had 3 carp between the 4 of us for the seven days. Beautiful lake and surroundings, caravan could do with up dating. We got what it said on the tin. nice venue

yes, went on our own before but will use you again, to have it all done for us was great and we could change the ferry etc no problem.

We done ok but lost quite a few fish, I had 10 takes the first day and waited for a run rather than the blip... only after did I realise,they are finnicky takers! The biggest was a forty, but we had around 16 carp in the week. The majority were thirties. Only two twenties.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

The fish were in good condition, beautiful carp and its a lovely place. You have to be on top of your rods and pick up on the blip don't wait for a screaming run.We used pop ups and found fruit flavours didn't work as well as spicy at the time. Single pieces of maize also worked.

yes, It just lacks the electric but they were really helpful did all charging for us.
