10 meters off the bank 1-1.5kg mix of pellet(2/3)particle(1/3) and a few boilies, fish with boilies.Short hook link (5 inch) proline fish was the best bait this week

General Comments:

Again a superb week on a superb lake. The fish are very strong and have a very high average, the higest I have ever had!! John, Debbie, and Mark are very helpful.Joost had the lake record 50.05

Details of your catches:

1 - 38lb 8oz mirror carp. 1 probable catfish hooked but not landed. Again very disappointed for the weeks fishing.

VILLEFOND IS A BEAUTIFUL LAKE WITH STUNNING FISH THAT ARE DEFINATLY CATCHABLE. I WILL DEFINATLY RETURN IN THE NEAR FUTURE. 10/10

Big beds of fresh bait, all fish caught on bottom baits, most fish coming in daylight.

General Comments:

A fantastic lake, with a great head of big fish.
Makes a nice change from the normal circuit waters, and the catch report speaks volumes..... 14 x 30's (average 37lb) and 4 x 40's in 5 days fishing. Topped off with a stunning Common at 47.8lb!
The Owners could not have been more welcoming, I have to say one of the best trips in France I've had, thanks John and the Family.
