I had my pb at 38.08lb mirror, other angler blanked.

The week before had been great fishing, but the weather dropped 6-8 degrees and the fish were just not having it and had switched off.

Unfortunatley picked the wrong week, the fish were spawning but i had 37lb and 39lb+ mirror carp lost 3 fish. My mate had a 36lb carp but lost 2.

Lots of fish showing but not playing the game due to spawning.

General Comments:

Hosts Debbie, Mark and John could not do enough for us excellent people. We used the caravan for cooking. Brilliant lake venue will come and fish it again.

3 fish total.... 2 mirrors in daytime 34.5 and 36.0 and one PB mirror at night 37.0

Boilies over pellet. 2 fish came from the margin

General Comments:

the fish were all quiet for 2 days while the weather was unsettled. then once they started coming the fishing was amazing i didn’t want to leave as 6 thirties came out the day before i had to go home. The fish are hard fighting and in pristine condition many have never been caught before i will be back in the spring. Thanks again Mark and John for your hospitality
