News from Deux Iles lake

Deux Iles report to 16 july, 16th Jul
Saturday 16 july was incredibly hot with 31°, Only one cabin was booked this week with Jacqui and Ivor. The first night was nice for Jacqui with a beautiful miroir at 41.8lb. On Wednesday, the fishes started spawning in the oppisite side of the lake.
They caught 10 fish in total during the week :
1 x 40lb / 2 x 30lb / 4 x 20lb and 3 x double.
They have already booked another trip next years with more friends. I'm looking forward to see you again! Thank you!

Deux Iles report to 18 june, 18th Jun
A great week again at Deux îles with 4 really nice guys. After a quick walk around the lake we used a draw to determine which group will be on each island.
Lee and Peter choose first and started to set up on the right island and discussed the best spots to fish.
The week was not really fair. Indeed Lee caught 20 carps while the three other anglers caught only 4 in total! It seems that all the fish were in the same area.
Lee : 1 x 44lb / 5 x 30lb / 9 x 20lb and 5 teens 13lb-18lb
Peter : sun, feed my carp but he didn't damage them.. :D
Alan : 1 x 16lb common
Dean : 3 x 12 to 28lb
Total : 24 carps
We had a lot of fun this week and I suggest to all the groups who have walkie talkie to bring them to Deux îles as they did this week!

Deux Iles report to 11 june, 11th Jun
Last week only two angler was present on the lake for 4 nights. After a quick walk around the lake they decidedthey would fish the left island. They fished boilies (live system), pellets, particles and tiger nuts.
They caught 5 fish in total and lost a few.
Charlie had 3 fish : 2 x 29lb and 1 x 35lb
Josh managed to caught 2 fish : 1 x 16lb and 1 x 40lb.
I caught this 40lb at 37lb last august and it's the first time I see it again! Nice growth rate.
They had a short but nice trip with a new PB for Josh. And they were nice guys too, I look forward to seeing them again!
