Just myself fishing, it was a bit slow at first but did pick up Monday onwards, managed 10 carp up to 40lb, also lost 5.

Luckily Bruno gave me some tigers because the crayfish were very active, so boilies were not the best choice.

Overall a good trip and Bruno is a perfect host as usual, looking forward to our next trip in August at Lepinet for 2 weeks, thanks again angling lines.

Sun came out big time on Saturday and the fish started spawning for 2 days. Caught no fish over 48hrs. Worrying times, but lucky temp dropped and the 2 of us caught 19 between us. 40 x 4, 30 x 5, and 20s.

Yes, the shower block and kitchen are great and well looked after, the cabins on the islands are a massive benefit and make the trip very comfortable.

General Comments:

We all had a great weeks fishing with a variety of great fish caught on the main lake, a barbel for Graham out of the river and a couple of sturgeon for Martin and myself from the stock pond. Bruno is a great host and very helpful, the lake and it’s facilities are spot on with some great fish to be caught along the way, we will all be going back in the future. Thank you Bruno.

Martin had a nice mirror at 28 lb 10oz Danny had 7 others, the heaviest being over 31lbs
