32 runs in total with 25 fish landed. 3 forties to 49 pound (the big common), 12 thirties and 10 twenties.

Wafters. Simply find your spots bait them and wait.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes they were as described. Absolutely first class. The lodge was a real luxury and with 3 nights of heavy rain much appreciated. Loads of room and a fridge. Well comfortable. Brilliant.

General Comments:

An excellent weeks fishing at a truly beautiful venue. Bruno is a top bloke. There when you need him but left alone when you don’t. A perfect host. Thanks Bruno and the pain au chocolat were delicious with our morning coffee. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks again.

Had 7 fish, 5 x 30lb up to 37lb and 2 x 20+

Boiled fished over Bruno's particle mix, fished tight to far bunker opposite our cabin.

Perfect spotlessly clean, great shower, plus fridge and freezer and microwave and sink

General Comments:

We didn't fish the actual venue we were supposed to (Seigneurie), Bruno put us on Deux Iles with a cabin, think he felt sorry for us because we'd just done 1 week in the bivvy already. Couldn't wish for a better host, thanks Bruno.

Details of your catches:

We had a total of 15 carp ranging from 18 to 48lb. We started of well for the first few days catching around 8 carp but the weather was up and down which slow it down.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Just listen to Bruno and you won’t go far wrong. Plastic baits helped against the crayfish but they aren’t as bad as some lakes we have fished in France. Live system glugged hookbaits worked well.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Cabins were brilliant and the main kitchen and shower area you couldn’t fault.
