Only 1 fish caught 23lb common carp.

We tried all the options regarding bait and rigs ect ,Bruno was at a loss as to why we were not having success as we were doing everything right. The fish started to spawn on the Tuesday and we saw no fish movement at all after this in cabin 2, they all went down to Danny at cabin 1 and he had a great week.

The facilities were great and no problems at all.

General Comments:

I think due to the fish spawn it made cabin 2 a no-no as all the fish went to the other side of the lake, as I said before Bruno could not understand it as to why we were not catching fish. Bruno is a top man and will do anything to help, we are going back in August so will catch some then.

Anyone who has been before will know what a special place this is, and what a great guy Bruno is. If you've never been before, you're missing a real gem. We're back again in October for our 5th trip - can't wait!

Yes - it is a fantastic venue, being limited to four anglers and having half the lake each is a real perk. Stunning surroundings and great fish too.
