General Comments:

Great place, Bruno always goes the extra mile for you. Fishing tends to be difficult, but after 3/4 days it works itself out.

We only managed to land 6 fish that week with the biggest being 36lb 2oz.

Small amount of bait put out by bait boat worked best for us.

General Comments:

We had trying week as the weather was against us. Very cold nights to -5 and frost knocked the fish off until the middle of the week after it started to warm up. We made the best of conditions we had. You just can’t count on the weather.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

No one best method - fish one rod length off the margin and bait sparingly. Fish did not respond to big beds of bait - however the conditions were tricky. Very high pressure and cold frosty nights.

Great facilities - clean cabins, hot water, washing up/toaster etc, WIFI. Everything you need for a week fishing - fantastic

General Comments:

Bruno has created a great lake that will mature and develop into an even more picturesque and charming venue. The fish are in immaculate condition and Bruno offers advice on how best to tackle the venue on a daily venue. Thanks for a great week and some amazing fish even in difficult conditions!

3 Carp 34.7, 39.3, 39.9lb all Mirror. Two against the island, one in mid water, between 3.30/ 6.30am.

Pop ups and tiger nuts hook bait, lose food particles, pellet, some boiles

Were the facilities what you expected?

The venue was brilliant . The hut was all that I could expect fridge, electricity, nice swims, toilets are clean and tidy, kitchen everything you could ask for like big fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave, hot running water

Were you happy with them?

Everything Bruno done was five-star, obviously you can't control the weather with the fish no on the feed due to the weather

General Comments:

With the hut and all the facilities I think a lot more people should booked up to go in the colder months making the fishing better, I was the first person to visit since November and the fish just wasn't on the feed due to the lack of baiting. Having said that I had an absolute brilliant week fishing with the fish I caught was in magnificent condition.
