General Comments:

This was a working week, fishing mainly limited to after 4:30pm till 9:30am
most days. Days were spent carrying out various jobs around the site, to
help get it ready for the upcoming season.

Mirrors to 38lb. grass carp to 29lb, plenty of 20’s

Fishing the margins and deeper water using pop ups and bottom baits with both Ronnie and hair rigs

Better than expected to a very high standard for any fishery

General Comments:

If you want it all then this is the place, great fish up to and over 50lb, venue quiet and picturesque, accommodation has everything you need. Owners on site and will help you with any of your needs and advice, very warm and friendly, tackle shop on site and highly recommend the food and bait packages. Top venue!!

Details of your catches:

20 fish in total from 6lb to 31lb 5 x doubles. 11 x 20s. 3 x 30s. 1 x single. Good mix of commons and mirrors.

Fiona had her 1st fish with the help of Gary.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Stalking in the bottom corner, fishing tight to the margins. Used Complex T over lake pellet and particle with Wafter hook baits.

General Comments:

Gary & Angeline made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. Angeline’s cooking is superb & Gary is pretty handy on the bbq too.
Definitely recommend the food package.
The fishing is excellent with some extremely strong/powerful fish. My forearm is certainly feeling it.
As a non angler this was a lovely place to come to and relax. It was a great experience catching my 1st fish too. Thanks Fiona.

Details of your catches:

Great stamp of fish. Mixture of commons, mirrors, and a few grass carp. Hard fishing with only a couple of fish a day but extremely enjoyable. Both of us has new pbs over 30lb.
16 fish caught. 4 x 30s 10 x 20s 1 x grass carp. 1 x double

Krill snowman with a hit and run pop up over lake pellet and particle.

Great Lakes. Great fish. Quite secluded venue. Superb food, BRILLIANT HOST.
Both Gary and Angeline went out of there way to help nothing was to much trouble.
