General Comments:

Second visit to this venue. Great place, great host and looking forward to our third visit. Must have food package, Angeline can cook up a storm. Gary doesn’t make the Chicken and leek pie.
(ongoing joke).

General Comments:

Fishing was difficult due to the weather, storm Dennis at the start and high wind and frost at the end. Second time at Eau De Vie, welcome was great as usual, food was top class as normal

1 x 12lb common carp.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Used tactics suggested by the lake.
Used Dynamite boilies and pellets and particles supplied by the lake. Tried ronnie rigs and shortened ronnie rigs. Zig rig and bottom baits. Fished 15 hrs a day!

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. Comfortable and warm. Everything provided. Good shower and comfy beds!

Definitely!

Maybe because it was November and a relatively new lake but we found it difficult! We half expected it to be! Even Gary the owner tried his best to help!

Yes. Very professional.

Great accommodation, nice lake. Don't think it's a runs water! Ç'est la peche!
