Bait boats are an extreme for overhanging trees.
All fish caught using fluorocarbon D-rigs, using wafters and/or plastic corn.
All bait used was purchased on site (boilies, pellet and particle).

Gary and Angeline are brilliant lake owners and hosts. The catering services are fantastic and are not to be missed.

We had around 20 fish. From 15lb to 60lb. Also had a 40lb cat which was my son's first cat.

General Comments:

Thanks to Gary and Ange for a superb week. We have been very well looked after and fed. Caught some fantastic fish. Neill (the bailiff) has been excellent, taught us loads, helped us find the spots and adapt our tactics to get the most out of the venue.

General Comments:

disappointing to find out the lake had a third less stock than advertised. Angeline was a lovely host and did some amazing food.
*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback. We have discussed this with the owner and over the last six years the lake has been open they have had loses through spawning and natural deaths like all fisheries so estimate the numbers to be a little lower than when the lake was initially stocked. We have now amended the website to take this into account and apologise that this was not up to date. However, the catch reports for this venue do give an accurate idea of the stock levels, average weights and what anglers can expect to catch most weeks – unfortunately all lakes will have the occasional slower weeks and we’re sorry this is what you experienced.
